Hey everyone. I’m starting a video series to help support different causes throughout the country that need our help now more than ever. Each song will be accompanied by information on a different charity or non-profit organization, plus a link to where you can donate. Even if you can only donate $1, $5, $10, these organizations are out there fighting for all of us in order to make the world a better place.
Our first organization is the Natural Resources Defense Council.
The NRDC combines the power of more than two million members and online activists with the expertise of some 500 lawyers, scientists, and policy advocates to secure the rights of all people to clean air, clean water, and healthy communities. You can learn all about the work that the NRDC does everyday throughout the world right here.As for the music, I couldn’t think of a better song to start with than this one. I know that playing this and posting it on the internet isn’t the same as going to a protest rally, or litigating for those in need, or writing the inspiring words that many of my friends post online day after day. But it’s something, I guess. And I hope it helps, even if just a little. Regardless, thanks for listening. I’m excited and hopeful as I start this project.
