This week's organization is:
(Exploited Children's Help Organization)
ECHO is a volunteer-based organization dedicated to preventing and reducing the incidence and impact of child abuse by providing education, advocacy, and support services to the children and families of Metro Louisville and surrounding areas. Through their guiding values of education, awareness, and advocacy, ECHO creates a vital network of hope for children and families.
In addition to my financial support of ECHO, here's a song by Mister Rogers. As the father of two young kids, I've spent a lot of time over the past couple years watching Mister Rogers' Neighborhood and learning songs from the show. These songs are some of the most important songs ever written, with fundamental messages of hope, kindness, and love.
This song is called "Today is New". It serves as a reminder for me to look forward into the future with hope. Amidst all the unfortunate things that happen every day on this planet, we must remember to be kind to one another and raise our children to be kind as well. Every day is new with ways to make the world a better place!
